nuherbs Co. was founded in 1979 by Dr. Bing Yin Lee, as a family herb store in Oakland’s Chinatown. Over the years, the little herb store has grown into a leading importer of Chinese herbal formulas, bulk herbs, TCM supplies, and other custom products. In spite of this growth, they have remained a family business guided by their belief in the advancement of Chinese medicine in the United States and the world. By thinking as healers’ first and business people second, they have maintained the trust of clients for close to three decades.

All NuHerbs products use laboratory tested Chinese herbs. The herbs are geo-authentic and are wild crafted or sourced from one of 52 GAP (Good Agricultural Practice) farms. The herbs are processed in accordance to traditional methods at a PIC/S-GMP certified plant. They pass stringent testing for pesticides, heavy metals, and microbacteria.
